Pet care experience
I have raised Yogi, my 70 pound Goldendoodle, for nearly 3 years! We've grown up a lot in that time and he's taught me how to care for dogs the right way and with lots of love. I have special experience training all ages of dogs, have administered many different forms of medicine, and delivered countless belly rubs since he was a baby. I will listen to you because I know every pet is different, and care for your pet in the specific way you require!

My home is well kept and dog friendly. We have a large, fenced in backyard that your dog can access at any time. A short drive away, Thornberry Off leash dog park is open every day of the week, and I will personally cover the $5 entrance fee if your dog is not a member (as long as they are vaccinated for rabies). My dog is shared between myself and a close friend, so it is no problem at all to have Yogi stay elsewhere if your dog is not comfortable around other dogs. Rest assured, Yogi is a gentle giant and very excited about making new friends.

Whatever you feel is imperative to my care of your pet I would love to know. Does your dog get along with other people/dogs? Do they get anxious if you're gone? Do they need any special grooming or medication? Etc.
A typical day
I love walking/jogging around Iowa City. There are plenty of great shops downtown that we can get a treat from as well! Besides playing fetch in the backyard and snoozing on the couch, the park is a short drive away and a great place to socialize with other dogs, my treat!

Availability
I'm currently enrolled in a Master's program full time. However, I am never away from home for more than 2 hours. Whether it is overnight boarding, day care, or anything in between, I am available to provide the time your pet needs to assure they never feel alone.
