Pet care experience
I have looked after dogs for several years for family and friends. These dogs range from the couch potato variety to the more adventurous spaniels who love to dash around of lead. Plenty of local safe walks nearby straight from my door with lots of furry friends to meet and greet on those walks. My Partner is also available to assist with looking after your fur buddies and they have extensive experience breeding, training and showing dogs to a high standard.

Very good vacation! A happy dog returned home well fed and had learnt new tricks to earn his snacks. Communication was maintained with photos and videos throughout the stay. Bonus surprise was an easter “ treat hunt” round the house!👍🏽
Our two dogs, Roxy & Alfie, had a fantastic time with George. He spent time getting to know them and their routine before we left and sent regular photos and updates during their stay. The dogs were happy and content when we arrived to pick them up and clearly enjoyed being with George. Booked them in for a longer stay already! Would definitely recommend George as a home from home for your pet.
Murphy went to stay with George for a week while I was on holiday and he had an absolute ball! It’s so reassuring to know that Murphy was cared for, treated and spoilt just as he would be at home with me. I was given regular photo and video updates about all their walks and adventures which was so lovely to see. Definitely a home away from home from home - Murphy gives his paw of approval!
George looked after our Frenchie Frank and was amazing.Frank was totally pampered and didn’t want to leave. He sent regular updates and pictures with we loved. We have booked him in for another week and would definitely recommend George to look after your dog.

I have an enclosed medium sized garden on a cul de sac so no busy road to contend with. It’s a short walk from my front door to a large network of paths and open areas and woods where your dog and explore on or off lead depending on your preference. Routes can range for short 20 min walks up to an hour and a half to two hours. Happy for your furry friend to sleep wherever they will be comfortable.

Essentially what is their normal, so they can feel relaxed and chilled and enjoy their time away whilst you enjoy yours. Need to know their feed routines, treats allowed and not allowed and when. Vet details for your dog plus anything else you feel I need to know.
A typical day
As much walks and fetching tugging and playing fetch as your dog(s) want or need. Happy to listen to you and tell me what is their normal and make them feel that their routine hasn’t been interrupted even though you are not at home.

Availability
I’m newly retired after a 42 year career behind a desk, but have returned to do a short term contract. There is nothing I love more than getting oot and aboot with a furry friend or two in tow. Then coming home and letting them snuggle down for a chill out. My partner is now taking the driving seat in most bookings as a result but has been a dog person for many many years.
