Hi, I’m Georga! (Just like the state, without the “i”!)Your pet’s new best friend! I am a dog trainer and animal lover, who has eight years in the pet sitting and care industry, and seventeen years of experience caring for my own animals. In addition to my experience caring for cats and dogs, I have several years of experience caring for reptiles, fish, and small companion animals. Anything from feeding to cleaning is easily taken care of. I am experienced and comfortable with both special needs, and senior animals. I am also able to work with your animals on any particular obedience behaviors if needed. I have experience with everything from a betta fish up to a Great Dane! When providing drop-ins or sittings, I am also happy to take care of basic household tasks. I will bring in the mail and packages, happy to water plants, and if the trash needs to be put out for pick up!

Our first time having Georga care for our dog and she is delightful! She did a great job caring for Toby and catering to his needs. She seems to be very tuned in to dog's moods which worked well for our little rescue.
Georga is a fantastic sitter and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. We have used Georga several times for dog sitting now, and just returned from a 3 week trip to happy dogs and a spotless house. We have 2 senior dogs with extra needs and I feel very comfortable with her taking care of our pups.
Georga is amazing! Our two cats became comfortable with her very quickly and looked forward to her visits. We loved the daily updates and the pictures! Thank you so much for such an amazing experience!

Safety, trust & environment
When taking care of animals, I put keeping their safety first. This includes ensuring collars/harnesses are correctly fitted for all adventures, and fences are secured to keep pups contained. When animals are left alone, they are left in an agreed upon area, with hazards removed (I.e. safely in their crates or snoozing in the living room with doors closed). With dog toys and chews I keep a close eye on them and remove them if they become hazards. I am insured for pet care in the unlikely event that something does happen.

I like to know about the animal’s typical daily schedule, potty breaks, meal and med times. I also like to be aware of triggers, allergies, and health conditions. If they have a favorite activity or toy, I would love to hear about it! I do prefer to have the opportunity to meet you and your animals to make sure we are a good fit prior to confirming a booking!
A typical day
I prioritize keeping animals on the schedule they are used to help lessen the stress of being without their family. I enjoy taking dogs out on walks to local parks.

Availability
I provide pet care full time, giving me lots of time to snuggle and care for your animals. I do my best to keep the animals on the schedule they are accustomed to and limit changes to their schedules, while ensuring all their needs are taken care of! Please note for house sitting: If your pet cannot be left alone for more than 4 hours during the day time, there is an additional $80 fee per day. Thank you for your understanding!
