Well my family has had Cairn Terriers since 1994. I know the joys, the patience, the tasks, the things you just gotta put up with that it takes to own a pet. It really is a labor of love. The experience of having a pet become a family member is like no other. I know the grief of losing that family member, too. Me and my girlfriend have no kids or pets. I'm the kind of guy that makes high-pitched noises around animals and it makes my girlfriends' eyes roll but it's what I do, ha! I'm always up for a toss, walk, or just a chill hang out session. I've always had a great rapport with animals - growing up my mom had horses so I was around those, too. Cats I know can be a mixed bag and I know to give the anti-social ones their space and allow them to come around to me. Then we can play! Animals want to be loved, be in a safe place, and have plenty to eat! just like people do. I'd be a great asset to you and your 4-legged family member(s)! We'll get along great!
