I have many years of experience in owning and caring for pets - dogs, cats, birds and others. Needless to say, I am an animal lover and in my youth have also rescued wild animals and birds. I have owned and maintained a number of houses over the years and recently managed a major home renovation project. My experience includes managing some holiday homes in Cape Town, South Africa which involved preparing the houses for guests and maintaining the houses and property. I am capable of doing minor home maintenance tasks, provided that I have access to the necessary tools. I am a semi-retired, internet marketing consultant. My work gives me the freedom to house sit anywhere in the world as long as I have access to the internet. I am a non-smoker. I am active and enjoy outdoor activity and travel. I am divorced with 3 adult children and 9 grandchildren in 3 different continents and want the flexibility to visit them regularly. I have dual citizenship - Canadian and British.
