I've had a love of animals ever since i can remember. Growing up we always had a dog as part of the family along with a multitude of other pets and I can't imagine it any other way. I've raised dogs from puppies and loved them until their last breath. I have puppy pads available for those who are not yet trained and those who have lost their ability to tell you when they need to go. I am a Registered Nurse and am very familiar with giving not only oral and topical medications but injections as well. I also have an amazing vet I've been going to for over 15 years, literally within minutes from my house just in case the unexpected happens.

Casper had a great time with Genre! She was awesome- she kept me updated throughout his stay and was very accommodating and easy to work with. I had never been away from my dog for very long before, but after meeting Genre I felt comfortable leaving him in her hands. Thank you for for being so good to my pup while I was away!
This was my first time boarding our little Sid. Genre was absolutely amazing from explaining things to me to taking care of him. Thank you so much you eased my mind.

I currently work full-time as a RN but have the opportunity to work from home on a regular basis. My animals are never left home alone for an extended period of time. I also have a large cage with lots of clean blankets for boarders to be put in for a short amount of time if need be.

I am pretty open to any breed, any size, any gender, any age. It is important that any dog i watch is good with kids and gets along with other dogs as I often watch multiple dogs at once.
A typical day
There will be lots of cuddles and lots of play time either with myself or my son. We'll go on walks weather permitting or just snuggle up on the couch under blankets if it's chilly.

I have watched multiple dogs for family and friends over the years and I've also fostered/rescued and re-homed over 7 dogs in the last 15 years some of whom came to me in pretty rough shape and I cared for them until they reached their full potential and were ready to be loved by another family. If i could have kept them all I would have but I had to make room for the next fur baby in need.
