Hello, my name is Genna. I am a certified veterinary technician with 20 years of experience in the animal field. I have always loved animals which led me to became a Veterinary Technician in 2008. In high school, I worked at a boarding/ dog daycare facility where I got hands-on experience walking and providing care to dogs and cats. That experience ultimately led to my decision to pursue my dream job! I worked in a vet clinic through school and pet sat on and off. I gained a ton of experience working in general practice, surgery, emergency, dermatology and oncology. I am very comfortable giving oral medications, injections and recognizing when an animal is sick or injured. I keep some supplies to treat minor injuries/illnesses in my home in case anything happens. ** I am not a vet and can not diagnose or treat your pet but while they are in my care. I will always communicate any concerns that may arise while your pet is in my care and together we can come up with a plan. Ryan, my fiancé, has a zoology degree and has had pets all his life. He's a great dog dad and is very sweet and gentle. Ryan works from home and will be here during the day with your pupper. I leave for work fairly early and have plenty of time to get outside, go for walks and enjoy the day. We have a kitty named Leonard, who is pretty shy and nervous. He typically doesn't mind dogs being around but avoids them while they're here. We do not board cats in our home because it is too stressful for Leonard but I am more than willing to come over daily to care for a kitty! For the safety of our kitty, we will only care for dogs in our home who are respectful of him ♥️ We recently adopted a younger male bulldog. He would love to have a friend come spend the night.
