I had a pet chihuahua when I was 14 and took care of him until me and my father moved and weren’t allowed to have pets. I potty trained him and taught him a few simple tricks the year that I had him. I stayed with a friend that had two cats and took care of them until I moved back home. When I moved back home I took care of my parents English bulldog until I moved into my own place. I’m currently looking into adopting a kitten, but until then I want to dog sit- and maybe cat sit- to be sure I’m ready for a full time pet with being in college and a part time job while traveling here and there.
