I always do a meet and greet with new clients to collect any important information prior to the booking. It's helpful for me to know these before meeting: 1) all behavioral and/or medical conditions 2) any food allergies or dietary restrictions Please note that my minimum standard of care is at least 3x/day visits for all dogs, and at least 1x/day visits for all cats. For dog walks, I require a fixed length (non-retractable) leash. If you do not have one, one will be provided. Reach out with any specific questions or to help schedule pet-sitting services. I look forward to the chance to take care of your fur-family!
A typical day
I follow all instructions left by the owners, with the safety and well-being of the pets my priority. I stick to your pet's normal routine. Always respectful of personal property and privacy while I'm in your home, I clean up after all pets while I am providing care, and never leave a mess behind. I will always spend the allotted time with your pet(s), commonly going over time to ensure everything and everyone is taken care of thoroughly. If visits consistently go over time, additional charges may apply.

Hi 👋 I’m Genie (she/they)! I’ve been a full-time pet sitter since 2022 and am a Fear Free Certified Professional, trained in pet CPR & first aid, and fully insured and bonded. Before becoming a full-time pet sitter, I worked in healthcare - an experience that strongly influences how I approach safety and attentive care. I am also the proud parent to two wonderful cats that I adopted as kittens, and recently laid to rest my sweet senior rescue dog 🤍 I specialize in calm, individualized care - especially for shy pets, seniors, and animals who do best with predictable routines and low-stress handling. Whether you have a reserved kitty, a special-needs senior, or a bouncy pup, I meet each pet where they are and tailor care to their needs. I am also comfortable caring for small animals, fish tanks, birds/parrots, and some reptiles. I price visits & stays based on distance driven, please inquire if you are under 5 miles away for a discounted rate. If you are further than 10 miles, additional mileage fees may apply. So happy to book with Genie again to watch our cats. The anxiety of leaving them is alleviated knowing Genie takes great care of them. She’s extremely thorough in her check in reports and takes the best photos of our cats.
Genie did a great job watching my boxer Remi. I was sent status reports for every visit and was provided lots of pictures of Remis' activities. Genie stayed at my place with Remi and left it clean and organized when leaving.

This was our first time having Genie come and check in on our babies! They loved her at the meet and greet and that followed through their first visit. She provided very detailed update and a bunch of photos! She even got my picky boy to eat his foods!
