Pet care experience
I can be described as an all around animal lover. I have owned dogs all my life from Irish Wolfhounds all the way down to the Rat Terriers. I have run a small pet sitting and dog walking business for 15 years and am always looking for more furry friends to care for. I have also worked at Petsmart in the pet care department so I know how to care for all varieties of creatures. Here I was trained in the safe care and handling of dogs, cats, and other small animals. I have cared for animals with a variety of health conditions and can administer oral and injection medication. Additionally, I was trained at PetSmart at a pet stylist so I can also offer bathing and nail trimming services. I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs and I am so excited to get to know yours! I have also worked in a veterinary clinic as an exam room assistant helping prep pets for the veterinarian. I have a ton of pet care experience and will take care of your pets like my own. I also now work as a service dog trainer. I am happy to provide care on short notice. I look forward to meeting you and your pups!

I always am mindful of doors and fences so that no dogs or cats escape while in my care. I always make sure leashes are secured and have a back up if needed and harnesses and colors are on tight enough to prevent escapes. The worst thing in the world is having an escaped pet and I don’t want that happening on my watch!

A typical day
I love to go for hikes with furry friends in the foothills and walks around the beautiful parks in Denver. If you have a ball crazy dog like me, I certainly know the benefits of a good game of fetch before a long nap. I also very much enjoy working on a dogs inate skills like nose work and love a good game of “find the treat.”
