I treasure every moment I get to spend with animal friends! It would be a treat to get to care for your pet. I have loads of caretaking experience, both with pets and people, as a former au pair and a lifelong animal lover. I have a three-legged cat of my own at home and I enjoy working at a dog-friendly office. I have experience house sitting and pride myself on taking excellent care of your pets and your home. I've also volunteered at animal shelters and am very comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes! At the shelter, we spent a lot of time cleaning up after animals and taking them on walks. I've got wide availability as I’m just getting back on the market here in Phoenix, but please know that I work a full 8-hour day in downtown Phoenix. I am able to visit your dog on my lunch break, if needed.

Genevieve did a great job taking care of Bohdi and they managed to have a lot of fun despite being stuck inside a lot with some rainy weather. She touched base every day to send photos and let me know how my boy was doing. Came home to a happy dog!

Genevieve was absolutely fantastic! I am always worried about leaving Pepper because she doesn’t like new people initially but she seemed to warm up to Genevieve very well. Genevieve was patient, friendly, and accommodating to any needs I had. She sent the cutest pictures and “pupdates” often to keep me in the loop. Since it was Christmas, she also opened gifts with Pepper on that day and sent fun videos. She took great care of our house as well. Cleaned up after herself and went over and beyond doing laundry as well. I would definitely recommend Genevieve to anyone who is looking for a reliable sitter for their fur babies. We will be using her again soon! Thanks for everything!
Genevieve is an extraordinarily responsible and trustworthy individual. She has house sat for us on numerous occasions, and more importantly takes care of our pets. Hiring Genevieve makes one less thing to worry about when we go out of town! We will always use Genevieve for our fur babies!

A typical day
When I take care of dogs, I like to key in to their personalities. If your dog has lots of energy, I enjoy taking them on long walks and playing games in the yard. But lots of dogs have different needs. Maybe your dog needs company, or you’re trying to encourage them to be more or less active. I like to tailor the experience to each particular dog. But no doubt, I’ll pet them a ton and tell them how good they are all day long!

Availability
House sitting: I take animal care very seriously and will ensure that your pet is my priority. I do work normal office hours in downtown Phoenix, though I can come visit during my lunch break if your pet needs to be let out. On weekends, I am very flexible; I prefer to spend time hanging out with your pet but will likely step away for a couple hours mid-day.
