As a former Producer for The Vet Life on Animal Planet, I've gained an insight and appreciation for animal care that goes beyond basic pet sitting. Dogs & Cats are my specialty, but believe it or not, I know a thing or two about caring for an Alpaca...& even Kangaroos! I don't suspect I'll book many of the latter gigs, but hey ya never know! I am the proud dog mom to a beautiful 5 yo Husky Mix named Zuko...you know like Danny Zuko from Grease? He's a big John Travolta fan ;) My calm demeanor & gentle disposition are why animals love me right off the bat. Constant interaction helps me build trust. Your pet will have my undivided attention and affection as if they were my very own. While on set, Dr. Blue (from The Vet Life) taught all the crew animal CPR & medication administration. It's a nice trick to have in your back pocket. I also know the precautions to take should your dog have a seizure. I keep NO ONIONS in my house. Onions in any form can be extremely toxic to dogs, even more so than chocolate. This is also something I learned while filming at the vet clinic.
