Pet care experience
I've recently returned to DC and love spending time with dogs! I do Rover simply to have dogs in my life because I can't have one of my own just yet. I've been off Rover recently to finish grad school, but now that I've finished my MPH and MBA I'm waiting on a security clearance to work with the US government. As a result, I'm free all day for the foreseeable future, meaning I'm happy to help with puppies that aren't potty-trained, etc. I have watched tons of dogs and have never met one I didn't love instantly. I take tons of pictures and am always available for check-ins and updates with as much detail as you'd like. I enjoy hiking and running, so I'd be happy to bring your pooch along, if it isn't too hot out!

I don't normally leave my pup, Heidi, to go on trips. I had a trip this past weekend that I could not pass up, so I reluctantly started to look for someone to take care of Heidi. I could not be happier with Genevieve! Heidi has a lot of quirks, including not liking her life to have any change whatsoever. After receiving photos daily of her stay, I actually began to worry Heidi wouldn't be happy when I came to get her. I would definitely use Genevieve again!
