I grew up in a family that raised and loved eight dogs, seven cats, two rabbits, one hamster, a handful of fish, one cockatiel, and more than two dozen horses. My family's dogs were an Australian Shepherd, two German Shorthaired Pointers, a Yellow Lab, and four Miniature Dachshunds. During college I cared for neighbors’ and family members’ dogs while they traveled, including a Standard Poodle, a Golden Retriever, a Black Lab, a Chihuahua, and two Yorkiepoos. I have been pet sitting and dog walking in Philadelphia since December of 2018. I love animals, I’m good with animals, and I am very conscious of the trust my clients place in me to care for their pets. When I look after your pets, I want to be able to provide the very best care possible. Whether they have separation anxiety, a fear of strollers and skateboards, or a complex feeding and medication schedule, I enjoy adjusting my care for both my clients’ peace of mind and their pets’ comfort.

I am so happy I found geneva! My dog is very fearful of strangers and Geneva has been absolutely wonderful and taking it slow and going at my dog’s pace! She is a complete natural with animals and has some an amazing and calm demeanor. I am so lucky we found her!

A typical day
I typically replicate a pet’s schedule as closely as possible to their usual routine when their family is home, although I am often able to provide some extra playtime, walks, and park visits during my stay. I aim to keep them well exercised and stimulated, as well as keeping them company and giving them attention during down time. I enjoy adjusting my care to suit a pet’s preferences. Some dogs like walking the same route, others enjoy mixing it up each time. One dog loves getting his fur brushed, so I usually brush his coat out each time I visit.

I am a full-time pet sitter and dog walker, so they are my number one priority. I’m not juggling any other job or classes with your pet’s schedule. I am careful not to overbook myself so that my clients’ pets receive the best possible care and attention.
