Pet care experience
I've really liked dogsitting for my friends in the city because I miss dogs and love the company while being active. A restless, bored dog deserves attention so we'll play indoors while not outside. I love to run, so glad to turn walks into runs, if not just take our time walking. Breeds I grew up with include bull dogs, cocker spaniels, and pit bulls. 2 dogs I've had gave me experience handling dogs unfriendly with other dogs. Physical strength allows me high level of control if necessary. Nights and early mornings are flexible - weekends are totally flexible. I'm quick with texts and will send ya pup's greetings by video or pic. If at my place we'll play or run in nearby Loyola Park, winter or warm.

Geneva was so fantastic to work with! She was willing to come meet me and my pup Bear before his stay with her to learn more about his habits and needs, and asked great questions to make sure she understood our day-to-day to make an easier transition for Bear. She was super flexible with drop off and pick up time, even though my schedule changed slightly at the last minute. When I dropped Bear off, she walked through her apartment with me to make sure there wasn't anything he might be too curious about, and reviewed all of his needs and schedule with me again. During Bear's stay, I received regular updates and photos of him having a great time. I would absolutely recommend Geneva to any pet parents, and will definitely be using her services again!
Geneva watched my dog Inigo for a weekend while my husband and I were traveling. Her apartment was clean and ready for him when we got there, and we were able to get his crate and food dishes set up quickly. Geneva knew how to use his harness, and texted us pictures from their walks (which were adorable). She has his bag packed and ready to go when we picked him up, and while he was happy to see us, he was sad to leave. I would absolutely ask Geneva to watch him again!
