Gene was fantastic! He set up a meet and greet before the house sitting with our 5 month old pup (who is a handful!). Not only was he super responsive but was also really flexible and reliable. We reached out to him pretty last minute and he treated the stay as if it were any other. As I mentioned … our pup, Millie, is a handful and probably more than he signed up for, but I could tell Gene was attentive, patient and caring with Millie. He was great to work with and never made us doubt that our girl was well taken care of. Can’t recommend Gene enough!

My husband and I been looking for a trustworthy dog sitter for awhile now. First we were so scared to use this Rover App, because we usually have family and friends watch our little puppy. When I did a meet and greet with Gene, he was so friendly and wanted to know everything about my daily routine with our dog and also house rules. Gene is a wonderful dog sitter, he played with our little bulldog while we were away for a week. He made sure he walked our English bulldog three times a day! Our little English bulldog loved him! He was always tired out from playing and interacting with Gene. We were amazed on how our puppy was behaving with him! To be honest he behaves even better with Gene than us! We love that he kept our house clean from house sitting, and followed instructions! Gene sent pictures of our dog on a daily basis, and made sure we communicated everyday! Gene is absolutely the best dog sitter, I recommended him to many of my family and friends whenever they need a house sitter and dog sitter! Overall Gene is an amazing dog sitter, and very trustworthy! We’ll be definitely hiring him all the time!
