Pet care experience
I have experience sitting and dog walking up to 8 dogs at a time. I began dog sitting 15 years ago. I love meeting new dogs and seeing familiar dogs I’ve cared for before! I am available to watch your dog in my apartment and take your dog for a walk while they're in my care. I am a stay at home parent. I rarely leave, so dogs in my care are in presence nearly 24/7. I am only able to watch dogs that are child friendly and we all play together during the day. I live in an apartment with a fenced backyard. Dogs are able to come in and out of the apartment as they please. I take one to two walks a day around the complex. The front room is a dog room. I do not have any furniture in there except dog beds, so pups are able to feel right at home and roam as they please.

Do not use this rover, she will not look after your dog. She had my dogs while I was on a long trip and was neglectful and unresponsive. During the stay, one of my dogs was attacked by another and she was barely responsive. From the sporadic messages we did get, she said he had a wound and made a vet appointment. She then lied about our vet not being able to find him in the system (this was hours after the appointment, she did not try to contact us or update us during this time). When I called the vet, they said a man (not Gene) brought him in and did not have the right information for us or our dog and just left. I had a friend pick up my dog early because she was not answering her phone or responding on the app even after all of this. Her lack of communication or concern was very frustrating. We took him to the vet asap when we got back and they found a tooth in a deep wound on his leg. This was so neglectful and unprofessional, this rover should not be allowed to be on this app.
Very accommodating to our short notice and unique circumstances! Friendly, did great with my moms older dog. Would definitely recommend them for dog walking and boarding.
Ollie had a great stay with Gene! Sounds like they got along great, and he came home happy and tired! I also appreciate the pictures/videos and Gene’s flexibility with pick up when our flight was delayed! Would recommend!
Gene was, in a word, fantastic. They took care of Yuki for 3 weeks, and the entire time sent me adorable updates showing play time, walks, and even confirming that Yuki was eating her meals (sometimes she can be a picky eater). Then, my flight home was cancelled, requiring a last minute booking extension - Gene could not have been more understanding and accommodating, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I felt to know my puppy was in the care of such a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and kind person.
