Pet care experience
Animal welfare is my passion. I work as an Animal Care Specialist at a local rescue, and pet sitting has been a side job for many years. I'm experienced with all types of dog, from puppies to seniors, including those with behavioral challenges. I love learning about each dog I care for and building a relationship with them; there's nothing better than seeing that happy face and wagging tail when they recognize me!

Am so late with this review but here I go. Gemma was absolutely phenomenal with my Lulu. She is so caring and sent me photos everyday. I can tell my dog loved her and she loved my Lulu. Thank you Gemma for being so great. I appreciate you.
Gemma did a great job with mimi! When I came back to pick her up she was obviously very comfortable and already acting like Gemmas shadow. Mimi was more than welcome at Gemma house and got along great with Gemmas dog Benny. I will most definitely be bringing mimi back to Gemmas next time we travel. (:
Gemma did a wonderful job caring for our dog as if he was her own. Our 85 pound lab came home happy and tired. ?
Gemma was fantastic looking after my disabled cat. Patrick has had all of his toes amputated for medical reasons and is a very cautious and worried cat. However he loved Gemma, she put her heart and soul into building a relationship and trust with him while I was away. Upon my return he wasn’t just fed and cared for he was happy to curl up in her lap and be fussed, something he had previously only done with family. I feel beyond confident in leaving my pets with Gemma. She is my first and only recommend for a pet caregiver.

My house is a doggy paradise! There's a big, fenced-in backyard where they can run, play and do their business, lots of bushes to explore, shady spots to relax in, and my own small dog is always ready to have fun with new visitors. My focus is on the guests I care for, looking out for their safety and making sure they're happy. I'm fully insured, certified by the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS), and qualified in Pet First Aid & CPR, for extra peace of mind.

A typical day
On a typical day, we'll spend time chilling indoors and playing outside in the backyard. All guests receive lots of one-on-one attention, and consideration of their specific requirements.
