Pet care experience
I have been a volunter at my local animal shelter ever since i have left school. This means i have experience with the husbandary and care of dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. at the shelter i have have worked with dogs varying from chihuahuas to German shepherds. I have experiencing in training and animal body language so I can use this to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away.
Reviews
Gemma did a fabulous job of looking after my puppy and cat whilst I was away on holiday, excellent knowledge and care provided and I didn’t have to worry at all about my pets as I had regular updates. Gemma has a vast knowledge of animal care and behaviour and I felt my pets had the best of care whilst I was away.

I will be careful to keep any dogs on the lead while walking in highly populated areas and I will make sure to keep all gates and doors locked to prevent escape risk. I will also monitor any health and character changes in your pet and keep you updated with how they are doing while you are away.
Information Gemma B. would like to know about your pet
Do let me know if your dog has any history with either being attacked or going for other dogs. This will be used to determine the walks that I will take your dog on. If your dog is people and dog social I will take them on higher populated routes so they can get that extra socialisation. However if they are dog or people fearful I will take them on quieter, more open routes so they have their own space.
A typical day
A typical day depends on the kind of dog I am looking after, with bigger, young, high energy dogs it will start with either a walk or play in the garden and breakfast. Then a rest and fuss, your dogs will be played with and walked as many times as you usually do. I will stick to your daily routine with your dog.

Availability
I am currently at university two days a week. These days change but end at 3 pm meaning I will have a lot of time to spend with your animals during the week as well as the weekend. I tend to have a lot of spare time that will be used to give your pets the best care possible.
