Your pets new best friend!
Pet care experience
I’ve been around animals my whole life. Growing up I spent summers working with animals on my grandparents farm. I got my first puppy at 10 and raised him his entire life through middle school, high school, and he even got to see me graduate college with a social work degree. I currently have two rescue bunnies and a 6 year old rescue mix. I am currently training with a reactive pitbull mix who I walk every morning. I’ve been house sitting for family friends for years and saw this as an amazing opportunity to do more of that! I’m experienced with a wide range of animals and can also care for rabbits and other small animals.

Gayle was awesome. She took excellent care of my small doggie. :-) I could relax and enjoy my outing without worry knowing my furry friend was safe at home in your capable hands. Thank you!!

Safety, trust & environment
In my home safety is a priority. I have prey animals (bunnies) and predators (my dog) living in a shared space. Individuals with experience know that when any animals are interacting supervision is 100% always necessary. Whatever your preference is within your home whether it be pet gates, crates, a locked front door or fence, I completely understand and would prefer to follow vigilantly for your pets safety as well as mine. My dog is not allowed certain chews that I might deem dangerous so I completely understand those restrictions as well! Whatever makes your dog feel most safe an comfortable.
Information Gayle A. would like to know about your pet
I like to be informed on your dogs needs and behaviors before hand. It makes out time together so much easier when I know what they like or dislike. Most importantly if your dog pulls on walks or is reactive towards dogs, people, cars etc.
A typical day
Good morning! Does your dog sleep in the bed or in a crate? When they wake so do I! We will prepare their breakfast whether it’s 25 ingredients (like my picky pups) or just a bowl of kibble! I like to start the morning with walks. It’s important to let a dog do as much sniffing as possible during walks. Using their nose is amazing mental stimulation. Walks are a great time to test obedience as well! I like to take breaks during walks to do tricks, this is another great way to enrich a dogs life and keep their focus on their handler! I have so many favorite walking spots in the keys, but even the neighborhoods here make for beautiful scenery. If your dog likes to cuddle on the couch that’s perfect or if they’d like to play fetch for hours that can be fun too! Games are so fun and Can help a dog to get tired out and sleep a full night through!
