Pet care experience
Update: Oct 2020 - Hi! Hi! I'm back on Rover after taking a few months off to move. I am so excited to announce I have converted my garage to a 3 doggie kennel and look forward to helping folks with their pets. I am a 51 year old disabled veteran and retiring civil servant. I love dogs very much and I do my best to care for them well. I am originally from Alabama where I was raised rescuing dogs with my Daddy out in country. My Daddy taught me how to love and respect dogs. I traveled in the Army and rescued dogs in Korea, Belgium and Turkey. I have been in Conyers since 2000. I am very serious about the welfare of animals trusted to my care. We are blessed with dominion over them and we have a great responsibility to protect and care for them. Dogs are especially precious to me. SAFETY FIRST ALWAYS! I will always be honest and do my best. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to do this after a long career in the military and federal service. Safety and personalized care is very important to me and we will tailor an arrangement that fits your needs. I keep no more than three dogs at a time and my best practice is to never leave the dog(s) alone. I say home 99% of the time. Luckily, my daughter has turned out to be a great backup. I am educated, experienced, mature and safety conscious. I will not put money before dogs by keeping more than I can handle, and I will not take risk with your pet. I do not have small children and I have the time to dedicate to the dogs in my care 24/7. I live in the back of a subdivision with low, low traffic. I have plenty of room outside for dogs to play and take them on great walks.
Reviews
Gayla is AWESOME. She took such good care of our fur baby Niko. She was patient and kind. She sent several updates and pics of Niko throughout his stay. We will definitely be using Gayla again.
I’m very happy with Gayla’s care for my four legged baby. He is a great dog, but doesn’t do well without his people, and with other dogs. She made allowances for Bishop to be away from her dogs, and loved on him. I got him back happy and while. With feeling like he was neglected in in away. No need to stop and let him poop, he came home played for a few minutes, and went to sleep. Happy dog, happy owner. THANKS AGAIN Gayla!!!!!
I left my pup with Gayla at her home for 7 days. Starting the minute I left I received texts with pictures and updates. I knew from our meet and greet that Oakley would be in great hands. She really knows what she’s doing, she loves tending to your animals and gives them a stress free environment. He loved it which means I loved it.
Had a great time

I like to follow the Rover Checklist, which we will go over at the Meet and Greet. I have 2 outside dogs, which do not come in the house, nor do they interact with dogs I am sitting. I have one inside foo foo Pomeranian. PLEASE NOTE: If you are using Rover, I am going to assume your dogs vacinations are in order. I do not keep copies because I pay Rover to take care of administrative matters. Despite the fact there is no vaccination requirement on Rover, please make sure your pets shots are up to date at all times. Thanks!
