Pet care experience
I have lived with and taken care of dogs of all ages! Puppies that bounce around constantly and require you to monitor them 24/7, to senior pups that need to be helped with movement, going to the bathroom, and every other challenge that comes up from time to time. I’m willing and able to do whatever it takes to make sure your pet will be happy and healthy!

I was referred to Gavin through a work colleague when they were not able to sit for my cat. Gavin was very professional and sent me updates and pictures so I could rest assured that my cat was comfortable with them. Any task such as feeding and playing with Tipton were always taken care of. I would recommend him and would definitely have Gavin watch Tipton in the future!
Excuse the superlatives but Gavin is the ideal pet caregiver. On many occasions he has taken care of our cat while my wife and I traveled. He genuinely cares for animals and is extremely responsible. Gavin is an outstanding young man and an excellent communicator. I could not imagine a better candidate to fulfill your pet caregiver needs.
I have known Gavin since he was a child and would have trusted him with my home and my pets, even as an elementary school student . As an adult, he has just gained more skills, maturity, and trust. He is great with all types of animals. He is a very calm, organized, thoughtful person. When he has stayed in my home, I found it in better shape than when I left it. He is great with dogs, cats, has had pet reptiles of his own and cares for them and their special needs very well. He is one of the kindest and most helpful people I know. I would not hesitate to ask any favor of him and in fact I often have! And he always comes through.
Gavin has watched my lab shepherd mix on several occasions when I have gone out of town. He’s consistent, responsible, and provides lots of updates on how she’s doing while I’m gone. He’s one of my first contacts when I know I need to be away!

Feeding, bathing, walking, playing with, I do it all with all of the animals in my care! I have no problems with sitting around in the same spot to accommodate an older and less mobile animal, or a needy puppy that has to be walked 3+ times a day. I really enjoy the unique challenges that come with every animal that is out there, and finding the best way to care for them and to let their personalities shine through!

-If they will get into trash, rooms, cabinets they’re not supposed to if they can. -Any medications they need to be given and by what method it should be administered. -Things they enjoy or ways they like to calm down if stressed. -How much time they like to have to themselves, or if they are very social, how much time to spend in close proximity to them. -Whether they like new people or not. -Anything else the owner feels is pertinent.
A typical day
I love going out and letting dogs make their own fun on walks, or even if they’re able to be taken by car I also have access to a large field full of trees and flowers that our own dogs love to run around! I am also a huge fan of sitting around and just watching tv if they would like to take naps or chew on a toy, it is really up to the dog I am watching what we will get into!

Availability
Most all of my time not spent at work or in class is spent around animals! Cats and dogs or even larger animals like donkeys and horses, I help take care of them all! I do have obligations through the week as stated before but if I don’t have something going on exactly at that moment then I am excited to get to contribute to an animals happiness!
