When it comes to caring for pets, my top priority is ensuring that they are safe, comfortable, and happy. If I am providing care in my home, I live in a pet-friendly apartment with plenty of space for pets to play, relax, and explore. The area surrounding my apartment also has several walking trails and green spaces, providing ample opportunities for exercise and fresh air. If the pets require transportation, I have a car available that I can use to take them to the groomers or vet appointments. If I am providing care in the client's home, I am happy to make frequent visits to ensure that the pets are well-fed, have access to water, and are getting enough exercise. I understand that each pet has its own unique needs and preferences, and I am committed to tailoring my care to meet those needs.

Before spending time with your dog, I would like to understand your preferences as well as your dog's likes and dislikes. In addition, understanding any fears or anxieties will help me develop a bond with your dog. For example, my dog Ginger likes to be left alone during thunder storms. I know to let her do her own thing so that she doesn't get stressed out. The more information and background you can give me, the better! I do not have any breed preferences. I am happy to spend time with any type of dog!
A typical day
Each dog is different and has different needs, so I am happy to tailor my services to meet your specific needs. For very active dogs, I offer long walks or runs around the neighborhood or in the parks. I do come prepared with a bag of toys which includes tennis balls and frisbees, or I am happy to use any toys you may have so that we can play. For older dogs, I am happy to take short walks so they get just enough exercise. I also know that dogs like to relax, so if hanging out on the floor or on the couch is what your dog likes, I am happy to do that has well.

Availability
I moved to Chicago in July to work at a real estate consulting firm, excited for the opportunities and new experiences the city had to offer. Unfortunately, after a few months, the firm was bought out, and I found myself at the bottom of the totem pole. As a result, I was laid off from my job, but I'm using this as an opportunity to explore new possibilities and pursue other passions. I have a few commitments, including playing in some men's league hockey games and tennis matches, but other than that, I'm relatively free during the week. I'm eager to see what else Chicago has in store for me and am open to new opportunities and challenges that come my way.
