I’m a professional writer and I love walking, running, chatting and playing with dogs, I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and have been Walking and hosting/sitting for 6 years though I’ve onky been on Rover for 6 or so months. I love being around cats & dogs and have a great connection with them ever since I was pulled out of a swimming pool by my dog when I was a baby. I've had many different types cats and dogs over the years and now that I live in a big house with a huge garden I can sit cats and dogs of all breeds and take the dogs for walks/runs in trent park which is right next to me. I have the energy and time to take care of pets and give them a good experience whether walking or looking after them for a short or long stay. I have a big house so I can look after a cat comfortably for up to 10 days. Happy to meet your pet first and discuss what their requirements are. I can also do drop ins and take care of your cat or dog while your away.

Gavin was great. We needed cover for our dog Benji, a boxer cross, with only a couple of days notice and Gavin stepped in. Benj is in a house full of girls and can get agitated around guys. Gavin was really calm and patient which was great for me as well as Benji! We will definitely visit again.
Gavin was a fantastic sitter. Very flexible as we got caught in heavy traffic on route. Communication was excellent throughout and our Dog had a great time, he was treated brilliantly. Would highly recommend and I will personally use again if we are again in the area. Our dog has been attacked a few times and isn't the best on the lead with others, this wasn't an issue, Gavin has a lovely big fenced in back garden to play in. Thanks again!
Gavin is extremely reliable and my little Brewster loves him. Brewster has a lot of energy and I can tell he loves being taken out by Gavin who has a great connection with him. Gavin is a lovely personable person who you can tell has a fantastic connection with dogs. Gavin walks Brewster regularly but I know when I need to take a trip Gavin is the first person I contact and probably the only person I would trust to leave Brewster with for a weekend. Last summer Gavin looked after Brewster for a fortnight which was so amazing because It was the first time I had left Brewster and I remember I gave Gavin such short notice but he's never let me down. I Highly recommend Gavin to any dog owner. Nelly

A typical day
I enjoy going to the park and jogging. Playing fetch and making sure the dog is having a great time. I have a range of chewie soft toys and balls they can play with. With cats I let them roam around my house and have soft toys and fluffy mouses and string they can play with.
