I've been a "dog person" my entire life and had a couple of dogs in my childhood. I adopted my dog Trooper in 2006 from the Chicago Canine Rescue (after fostering him for 3 weeks) and he was my best friend and faithful companion until his passing in July 2020 at age 15. I volunteered in the Anti-Cruelty Society's dog adoption program from 2002 through 2011, where I also trained new volunteers for the program. I also worked for Chicago Canine Rescue from January through June of 2008 and for Urban Outsitters dog daycare for 6 months in 2005. My experience as a dog dad for the past 14 years, combined with my animal shelter and dog daycare experience has allowed me to work with many different sizes, breeds, and temperaments of dogs. I have 10+ years experience dog sitting with various friends' dogs.
