Hi, my husband Harvey and I absolutely adore dogs. We have considerable experience with family pets and have been fortunate to care for the pets of friends and relatives over the years. Since 2017, we’ve extended our care to dogs through platforms like BorrowMyDoggy (since 2017), Rover (since 2022), and THS (since 2022). We’ve been grateful to receive consistently positive 5-star reviews from those we’ve helped. We are often on trips away, so have decided that the timing isn’t right to own our own dog, so Rover is the next best thing and we wish we’d discovered it earlier! We will be taking care of your dog together. We are responsible, reliable and attentive so your dog will be getting double the care and double the love!

Gary has been amazing at looking after our Lab x Golden retriever.
If there were another five stars I would be awarding them for Gary's amazing care of my dogs. He is kind and reassuring and clearly a dog lover. My dogs couldn't have been better looked after during their stay. They're normally quite reserved boys, but they connected with Gary right from the start. They clearly had a great time with him. Lots of cuddles and playing and loads of wonderful walks too. Gary's a great communicator and was helpful and thoughtful before and during their stay. He sent plenty of photos and updates about the boys too. I got the sense that they had an absolute ball. So much so that I genuinely wondered if the boys would want to leave at the end of their stay - I think it was touch and go!! I wouldn't think twice about taking my boys back to Gary and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a really thoughtful, kind and fun dog-lover to care for their pets. He's the best!
Oscar (our red fox lab) had the most amazing week with Gary. Communication was excellent and over the week Gary send us pictures and let us know how Oscar is doing. Oscar enjoyed his time with Gary and we certainly will use Gary again.
Our cockapoo had the most amazing weekend with Gary and his partner. Communication was excellent at every step of the process and Gary sent loads of pics and updates over the weekend. When our flight was delayed Gary was so accommodating and easy going about changing drop off time etc. Our dog clearly loved staying with Gary will definitely be our first choice for dog boarding next time we go away.

We live is a spacious flat with outdoor terrace in Hampstead village (NW3) close to many transport links and the Royal Free Hospital. Hampstead Heath is just a five minute walk away and Primrose Hill and Regents Park are both within 20 minutes walking distance so your dog can expect plenty of walks in green spaces. Short and long stays are welcome, and we are very flexible when it comes to taking care of your dog should they have specific needs. We will provide lots of pictures so you'll never feel far away from your four legged friend.

A typical day
Your dog can expect lots of walks in local green spaces (including Hampstead Heath, Primrose Hill and Regents Park). We are happy to go on up to two big walks a day.

I am currently taking a long career break, and Harvey works from home a lot so we have plenty of time on our hands! Should one of us leave the flat to visit friends, the gym or shops, the other would stay at home and care for your dog so that they are never left alone, unless the owner lets us know it’s OK to.
