Pet care experience
All of my life growing up and as an adult, I have owned dogs. My latest, a Chihuahua of 14 years, passed a few years ago and has not been replaced. I have tried to fill that void by fostering dogs from multiple shelters but realized I would like to assist individuals who have real needs for these special members of their family. I know how careful I would be in selecting a caretaker of my precious dogs and want to assure you that I will love and care for your four-legged family member with the same love and devotion that you would if you were present to do so. I also understand that the relationship between you, your dog and I has to be one that all feel comfortable with. Therefore, a meet and greet to satisfy all involved is required for any bookings. Thanks for considering me and I look forward to loving your dog.
Reviews
We have used Gary many times over the last several years. I can’t speak highly enough of him and the care that he provides for our big girl. He and his wife are just the sweetest people and will love your pet as their own!
Gary is amazing! My dog absolutely LOVES staying with him. He takes such great care of her
We are so thankful for the service Gary provides! We are able to have peace of mind while away from home, knowing that Beethoven is in capable and caring hands…an invaluable resource! We don’t go away often, but when we do, we call Gary to care for our boy!
This is our furbaby’s (at least) tenth visit with Gary and we will not leave him with anyone else! Our small dog suffers from anxiety and is shy, yet every time he visits Gary he runs up to him and leaps in his arms. If that doesn’t say enough, when we pick Onyx up he’s almost indifferent to our arrival and sleeps happily on the way home. I can’t say enough about Gary!! He’s truly one of a kind and I can not recommend him enough! 5 stars is not enough for Mr Gary!

I have a fenced backyard but do not let the pups out alone. I always go out with them every two hours for fresh air, sunshine, play, and potty breaks.

I want your pup to feel at home in my home as much as possible during their stay. Please feel free to bring not only their food but any treats. toys, blankets, beds, crates, etc. that will make them feel at home and relaxed. Also, please fill out and bring to my attention, their online profile with all pertinent information, i.e., meds, special diets, special needs, etc.
A typical day
What does your dog like to do? Play fetch, get belly rubs, snuggle up next to you on the couch? Please share your dogs' likes and dislikes so I can make them as comfortable as possible. Where do they sleep at night? Their bed in your room, crate, your bed? What time do they typically rise in the morning and retire in the evening? My desire is for your pups' routine to be as much as possible just like home.
