I don't really have an answer as to why dogs seem to come to me but they do. I love animals and they seem to sense it. I grew up with both large and small dogs not to mention the rabbits, snakes, alligator and monkey. I currently have an 85lb English Lab and his little brother who happens to be a 17lb Pug. I'm semi-retired which leaves me with a pretty flexible schedule. It also means that I have been around long enough to have gained a certain amount of common sense and won't panic when unforeseen events occur. I take good care of my dogs, who are terribly spoiled, but was raised to always care for other people's property which is entrusted to you better that your own stuff.
