Overnight is overnight; Dinner to Breakfast; my nightly pricing includes a 30min midday visit. Also prices adjust based on distance/commute, and needs/desires (Example: Insulin shots are extra). By the end of your pups stay I will probably end up knowing your pup better than you do, lol. I've watched anywhere from 5 big dogs in a house to 1 dog with 3 cats and am comfortable with special needs care from pills to insulin. I think to prepare myself for worst case scenarios like: if your dog is being walked and an off-leash aggressive dog approaches or if your walker is on their phone (or crutches which I’ve seen with a pack walker) and doesn't have grip on your dog and they see a squirrel… bye, bye dog. Our industry is unregulated. No guidelines or protocols for animal care. Do some research on what is best for your individual dog! They deserve the best QUALITY and COMPASSIONATE care; I'm one of the few, rare, actually trained in handling on here. Not trying to insult, only educate, to help provide the best for the dogs, so hopefully you really grill your caregiver options. Remember we need you more than you need us! Rants and Raves: I don't really trust rover or any of these sites; There is no training required to be on here, their test is unbelievably easy, and who knows if they actually background check.
