We are a family based dog loving home looking to care for your dog like our own while you are away. Our motivation for joining Rover is because we love dogs and want the opportunity to get more time to hang out with our furry friends. Our beautiful Kona passed away last year, and although we are not ready to get a new dog quite yet, we love being around dogs. We have started pet-sitting our friends and families dogs and have loved the dog fix we get from these times! We appreciete walks in the woods and lots of play time. We have a 8yr old daughter and 4 year old son and the dog MUST be child friendly. We have a normal sized yard that is completely fenced. During hours we are home, we have a dog door so your pup can enter and exit as they wish. Garry works shift work so his time at home will change each week. Erin works Monday to Friday so your fur baby will need to be ok with being home alone during the work week sometimes (not always). Our last two dogs were a Cheasepeak Bay Retriever and a Labradoodle. Both of us grew up with dogs as well. We had to give our dogs medications in their later years, as well as their annual vaccinations, I am comfortable with administration of any oral or subcutaneous meds. We can't wait to get the opportunity to love your dog like our own while you are away!
