Pet care experience
Hey! I'm a recent Yale grad adoring starting my career as a teacher. I've taken care of animals all my life, such as dogs, cats, house rabbits, and geckos. I absolutely adore them wildly. I have had experience working with dogs that are leash reactive and with big personalities, as well as some experience with dog training. I love all animals and would be delighted to meet yours.I am open to dogs of all sorts and never judge. I understand having dogs that make you nervous and feeling isolated without help, so do not hesitate to reach out.

Garrett is hands down the best person to trust with your pet. We left our 7 year old, lively & sociable shepherd mix alone for the first time when we went to Portugal for 10 days. This was the first time Buster had been left with anyone outside the family, and to say I was nervous was an understatement. Garrett went above and beyond, sending messages with pictures and a brief check in, reassuring us that Buster was fine - the pictures gave us real evidence that he was indeed a happy camper, and honestly some of the photos made it seem like he was having a better time than if we’d been home! Haha, but in all seriousness, I would recommend Garrett 100% to anyone, and will definitively be going to him first whenever we need Buster care in the future. Thank you, Garrett!!!

I love to chat with your pets as we go on long walks, play with toys, set up scent work scavenger hunts, and sit together to get them settled back into their home routine.

I do work throughout the school day as a teacher, but I am available for afternoons, early mornings, and the weekends. I generally am free anytime after 4:30.
