My name is Garrett, and I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While studying Conservation Biology in college, I worked as a playgroup leader caring for dogs at a local daycare. I absolutely loved getting to spend time with all the wonderful pups at daycare, additionally I also watched many of our patrons' animals (dogs, cats, fish, turtles, and even a raccoon) at their home when they were away. I have been pet sitting for the last four years, as well as providing positive reinforcement training for dogs and instruction to their human companions! Recently, I moved to Florida to pursue ocean conservation and learn to scuba dive. Give me a call or text for any pet sitting, walking, or training needs! Excellent service
Garrett has stayed in our home and watched our animals for us when my husband and I have been away on vacation and/or business approximately 10 times before he moved to Florida. Our trips ranged from 4 days to a week. We live in a rural area and have 14 acres with a dozen cats, 2 large dogs and on one trip he even nursed 3 baby raccoons for us. We rescued them and they needed kitten milk given to them in tiny bottles several times per day. While away Garrett would text me loving photos and stories about our pets. The dogs got to go on long walks and the cats & dogs were well fed and cuddled with. Garrett always cleaned and took out all garbage before we arrived home. Our house was often cleaner than before we left. All animals and my husband and I miss him dearly...we wish he still lived in Wisconsin.
When our boys see Garrett they wiggle, jump and “talk” with excitement! Our second rescue was a bit challenging and Garrett was so good with him. He spent a week in our home with Charlie when we went out of town and Charlie clearly loved him and was comfortable with him. Garrett was willing to handle both dogs on several occasions which allowed them to stay home. We were heartbroken when Garrett moved but happy and excited about his new adventures.

A typical day
I love taking the pups I am watching on hikes! Not only is it great exercise for your dog, there are thousands of smells and sounds occurring in our nature conservancies that dogs don't get to experience every day. Because of this mental stimulation in addition to physical exercise your pup will be happy and able to expend the energy they need to. Additionally, if your dog does not like the great outdoors my training in daycare settings in very beneficial. I also practice many games and training exercises with your dogs to better their mental status and give them something to focus on while their family is away.
