All dogs will receive constant attention, exercise, and will be able to socialise with our own dogs. We have plenty of experience taking care of dogs in a home environment, and Gareth also walks dogs for vulnerable adults through a national charity. Our labrador, Ellie, loves to have plenty of exercise - she loves to run around and she can play fetch for hours without getting bored. She's a great companion if you also have a high energy dog that needs a release, and we have plenty of close walking spots near to where we live for them to burn this off. Our beagle, Saffy, is generally quite laid back and balances this out, although every now and then she likes to get in on the fun and tries to encourage other dogs (and people) to chase her. Both our dogs are well socialised, trained and have been to puppy school when they were young, and they are very used to being around other dogs. Our house is clean with a medium size garden that has plenty of space for them to bounce around, and there is also plenty of space on the sofa should they want to cuddle up for an afternoon snooze. Having had a cat for many years (a very bossy one at that), both Saffy and Ellie are very good with them, and they're quite submissive to their powers. We're happy to host cats in conjunction with dogs, but if you'd rather them not be around other guest dogs we can accommodate them upstairs so they can have a little private time. Our girls mean everything to us, and we're more than happy to welcome your dog into our pack whilst you're away.
