Hi there! My name is Gala. I'm a writer living in Queens. This profile used to be a place where I took care of other people's pups (OPP) but now I have a pup of my own. I'll keep the old info up for posterity but I'm just here to make requests now! ____________________________________________________________________ I have a lot of experience caring for dogs: I have been a regular dogsitter for different families in NY and Michigan. In addition to that, I moonlighted as a dogwalker in NYC, caring for as many as eight dogs in one day.bThat being said, I miss canine company and would love to enjoy some time with your furry friend. I have a good-sized apartment in Ridgewood and love long walks. About this sitter: I would love to come sit for your dogs! What a treat to care for them where they are most comfortable. I have dog-sat regularly in the past and as long as there is no cat dander in the mix, we have a golden deal. Why I love dog sitting I have always been a dog lover. Gala was great. She watched my old little dogs, and was super flexible about both drop-offs and pick-ups, which helped us out since our flight was delayed on the way back. She sent lots of pictures too! More importantly, our dogs were super chill when we picked them up and seemed in good spirits.
Gala took care me my medium-large sized dog and did an excellent job. She sent me at least 2 photos a day of my dog. I could tell that my pooch liked Gala a lot and enjoyed cuddling with her. Thanks, Gala!
Gala was super accommodating and made herself available, even last minute! My little guy was very calm and happy to stay with her, and her apartment layout was very dog-friendly... I would use her again for sure!
Small space, but cozy. Might not be ideal for a large, active dog, but Gala made it work for Oscar (30lb Puggle). He is an older, nervous rescue and is a bit high maintenance (needs meds, etc). Gala stayed in touch and asked questions when needed...I'm so grateful! She just exudes kindness.
