I’ll take care of your best friend!
Pet care experience
First, a friendly reminder: I have a beloved cat in my household, so only cat-friendly or cat-tolerant dogs will work here. I’ve been taking care of animals all my life; cats, dogs and horses. I moved to Tucson six years ago from Ohio. I drove across the country with 7 cats and a parrot, staying in motor court type motels where I could have 7 cat crates and a bird cage in the room. What an experience! Since I’ve been here, six of my cats have died; they ranged in age from 17 to 21. I’ve had lots of experience with seniors and senior related health issues. I am happy to administer medication and fluids if needed.
Reviews
Gail is a dog whisperer. She is lovely, my sometimes very shy dog was in heaven with Gail. Her home is lovely too with a very safe yard for furry friends to stay safe. I will go back.
Gail is such a wonderful sitter for Pico. Her home and yard, as well as her lifestyle and personality suit him perfectly. I could tell he was well cared for and happy when we came to pick him up. We have already re-booked with her for a longer stay.
Gail was willing to help me out last minute (which I know isn’t a possibility every time but was very much appreciated!) and is always so nice and courteous. Pepe has such a fun time at her house and I know that he will be well taken care of. As always, thanks, Gail!!
Our dogs seemed to enjoy their stay at Gail's. She sent us daily pics and updates. Will definitely board our dogs with Gail the next time we have to leave town.

Information Gail W. would like to know about your pet
The more information about your dog, the better. Quirky behaviors, triggers, or anxieties and how I can best respond to ensure they feel content and secure.
A typical day
We will drive to Brandi Fenton Park on River Road for our walks. It is expansive and very safe. Early morning, after breakfast is best.

I am retired now and things are pretty quiet around here, so your furry friends would be a most welcome addition. Plenty of time for attention and play. My kids are Lacey, a rescued Dachshund, Newtie, a 13 year old Cincinnatiian and Jimmy, a 35 year old Amazon parrot. Newtie (the superior) barely acknowledges other animals, Jimmy, true to his Amazon nature, is forever stuck in the terrible twos stage of life and Lacey, who is laid back and loves making new friends.
