Pet care experience
Visiting one of the National Parks in southern Utah? Need someone to watch your pets while you explore the natural beauty in our area? Then I would love to help you out. We live in Kanab. I am a near-retired Teacher from Indiana and am currently teaching at the border of Utah/Arizona and I have my summers free to do my second favorite thing- dog sit . I moved out for the beauty and brought my pets with me I have two dogs (both are foster rescues) and they have both been around other dogs in a variety of situations. I have a fenced back yard and a doggie door and feel i am well situated to “dogsit” for you as you explore our national parks. I have fostered dogs in the past (over 30) and grew up on a farm taking care of our livestock. If you need me to care for them overnight, then that works for me too. I am flexible and hopefully can help you out

We were nervous leaving our pup for the first time while traveling, but Gail couldn’t have made this a better experience! We felt completely comfortable with her, her dogs, and her house. She took wonderful care of our dog, sent is pictures throughout the day, and was flexible with drop off and pick up times. Our dog was happy, healthy, and exhausted after spending the day with her!
Gayle was awesome. Super clean home and backyard and our pooch was tired out! Would highly recommend!!
Gail and Greg were WONDERFUL!!! We came in for a quick two days to visit Zion NP and they kept our pup each day so that we could enjoy some of the hikes and non dog-friendly areas. They were so sweet, communicative, flexible, and gave us some great dinner and hiking recommendations!!! Thank you both for taking care of our Cal and he already can’t wait to come back in the future!
