Kind, Responsible, and Responsive!

Pet care experience

Whether it's going on walks, just checking in with food and water, or hanging out with them for a full day or two, I've had plenty of experience with both dogs and cats for over 20 years. Having grown up with both - and even the occasional gerbil, fish, or bunny - I'll always have a soft spot for our furry buds, recognizing that every pet is different and so is the care they receive. I pride myself on punctuality, responsiveness, and being detail oriented. If you want Trixie fed 3/8 of a can of dog food and precisely 19 oz of water, and only between 9:15 and 9:45 AM, I can do that. Or if you just need Duke walked around the block a few times or long enough to find a good stick to chew on, I can do that too! I'm not going to pretend like I know what's best for your pet - I'm happy to take care of them the same way you do, or however you'd like me to. Simple as that! No matter the doggo or cat, I'm here to help the best I can!

So grateful to Gage for helping us out with our pup, Loki! This was our first time using Rover (actually our first time doing a day care/sitter at all), and it couldn't have gone smoother. Gage was super friendly and welcoming -- we'd happily trust him with Loki anytime!

Our dog loves Gage! Gage takes our dog on long walks and gives her a snack! We really appreciate the pictures and updates we get and even puts her sweater on her when it’s a bit chilly!

Gage is awesome! Probably the nicest human being I’ve met and super professional. Treats my pup with so much love and care I’m scared she will love Gage more than me!

Safety, trust & environment

Currently services are limited to those provided at my home. When watching someone's pet, I make sure areas in the home are partitioned off such that your doggo or cat can't get into pantries, garbage cans, weird Baltimore rowhome crawlspaces... I want to keep spaces explorable but safe. Additionally, I try to stay within eyesight of your pet wherever they want to be - this helps me be responsive to their needs and to make sure they're not getting into anything they shouldn't be.

Home

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household

Information Gage P. would like to know about your pet

How's your doggo do with others met on a walk? Any special medical needs? Weary of men, women, kids, hats, beards, etc? All of our pets have their little quirks - knowing these up front can help avoid surprises or uncomfortable situations down the road.

A typical day

I can't promise beaches, but long walks through nearby parks can be guaranteed! Optional activities can include fetch, tug, belly rubs, or even just napping in the shade.
