Gabrielle was great at the meet and greet, seemed very professional and told me that even though it’s the holidays, she doesn’t have many plans so she could spend the whole time with my dog, Pepper. The first night she was supposed to check on her, she just took her on a walk and left. She didn’t stay the night as I booked a house sitting with her and not just drop-in visits. She then came back in the morning and walked her again. When I asked her how Pepper slept overnight she told me that Pepper slept well and was in my bed through the whole night and then made excuses to why she was in the same clothes as the night before, and then became very defensive and told me that I did not make it clear to her that she was supposed to spend the night with Pepper and that she could only check on her 3 times per day and that I was only paying her a small amount and that it’s a rip off because it was a holiday. After she returned my dog, I cancelled the rest of my booking with her and had to find a friend who could take my dog somewhere else to stay until I come back from New Jersey. I literally spent my entire Christmas Day crying at my in-laws and pretty much ruined everyone else’s Christmas with this drama thanks to Gabrielle. My advice to Gabrielle is to change her rates for house sitting to something that she sees fit for the amount of work that’s being requested and to adjust the pricing on the holiday rate so she doesn’t get “ripped off” again.

We booked our dog’s boarding with Gabrielle last minute and she couldn’t have been more accommodating. She made our first Rover experience a pleasant one and always gave us peace of mind when it came to our baby. Would highly recommend and look to booking her again in the future!
