My adoptive mother adopted animals throughout my childhood, and ended up keeping most of them from attachment. We had a strict routine with all of the animals, as far as feeding, watering, and walking. At one point, we had 20 cats and 8 dogs on a large property. I enjoy the company of animals, more than humans most of the time. I think of all of my animals as my family, not just animals. As such, they are part of every family event and photo. Unfortunately, when I moved to Austin for school, I had to leave my dogs with my mom. I now have 3 cats, but love on all of my friend's dogs whenever I get the opportunity.
