Your pet(s) get my undivided attention, and I’m available in case there are any logistical emergencies! - detailed updates while you're away with pictures to make you smile throughout the day - non-smoker & vaccinated, being verified on Rover means that I've cleared the application process as well as a background check - can do a meet & greet prior to your departure - LOTS of loving for your pup! ~ the deets ~ Hi! I’m Gaby! I’ve had lots of experience with dogs from raising and training an energetic puppy, to volunteer walking a senior dog with mobility issues. I know the love and patience it takes with all sorts of pups and love getting to know each dog and what they need to feel comfortable and safe with me! I know it sometimes takes a lot of patience to build up the trust and relationship with your doggo to uphold their routine. I work great with dogs with separation anxiety or who might need the extra patience to help them feel safe on walks. With my house sits, trust me, you’ll probably find your home way cleaner than how you left it! That’s just how I roll! 😊 ~ free pup resumé ~ If your stay is 3 or more days long, you’ll receive a comprehensive and personalized pup resumé with all your dog’s safety information, schedule, and helpful information for our future visits! Gaby is incredible. She gets to know your dog’s nuances and patterns beforehand and bonds with them. We were impressed by the wonderful and regular pup-dates and how happy everyone was! It made for a more relaxing vacation knowing that Gaby was taking such great care of our dogs. They definitely missed her when we got back!

Thank you Gaby! Another GREAT stay with Utah and Ringo but this time she had to play doctor for Utah. Gaby had multiple medications for Utah's severe ear infection and had to make trip to the vet while we were away. Not only is she a great pet sitter but she can also handle medical situations of all kinds while you are away should they come up. In this case I trusted Gaby so much I left her to give medical care to Utah while I was away. As usual everything went great! Thanks Gaby for everything you do for our Frenchies!
Gaby again proves to be amazing with yet another 9 day stay with our frenchies- Utah and Ringo. I keep posting reviews because she never disappoints. They just love her, and we absolutely love her. Expect to hear from me again- we commute to LA for 9 days every 5 weeks or so, and Gaby is it!

~ safety ~ Through our meet and greet or initial conversation, I have a thorough checklist I go through so that I have all your pup’s safety and care information. :) ~ meet & greets ~ In-person meet & greets (30-45 minutes) for new clients before a booking confirmation are available through the payment of a “good faith deposit” of $20. Upon booking, that deposit will go towards your booking/$20 will be deducted from your booking. This keeps everyone's time honored, and intentions in good faith. No deposit is needed for meet & greets scheduled after a booking is confirmed and locked in, or for repeat clients. Thanks for understanding! ~ liability ~ For liability reasons and for the safety and consistency of care for your pup(s), I’m not able to do split stays/house sits with another sitter, family member, and/or friend. I am only able to accept bookings for which I’m the sole caretaker of your pup(s) for the duration of your trip. Thanks for your understanding!

Understanding any little quirks that can help clue me into your dog’s personality and their comfort level with new dogs and people helps as well! For dog sits, please let me know your dog’s routine so that I can adhere to it. :)
A typical day
I love to go on walks with the dogs. For social pups, definitely love to make a stop at a dog park or in central park. I particularly love riverside and walking along the hudson! I love playing with tug toys with some more energetic dogs, especially teething puppies! I think zoomies are the cutest and love playing chase with toys with pups.

Availability
~ the schedule & rates ~ To gather your pup's care and safety information, I have a lovely form that keeps it all in one place! I use it to make your pup's reumé and it helps me to "get the scoop" before a meet & greet and/or your trip! For house sits, I’m able to provide overnight care, as well as 2 walks (morning and evening), which is reflected in my posted rates. Should your pup need additional walks/pee breaks and/or constant care please note rates will be fairly adjusted accordingly. (For house sits with 3 walks/pee breaks - morning, afternoon, evening), my rate is $145 per night for 1 pup.) Constant care is offered at an hourly rate ($30/hour min). Thanks for understanding! I work part-time (a hybrid of in-office and remote work) in the music department of a church in Lincoln Center, and I work remotely part-time as a Manager of Operations for a wedding band company. Should you have any last-minute plans, I’m usually able to accommodate them! ~ service area ~ I service the NYC area (particularly UWS, Midtown West, Chelsea, Flatiron, NoMad) and Fairfield County, CT (New Canaan, Darien, Wilton, Ridgefield, Stamford, etc).
