Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I have had my dog for 14 years and he is in incredible condition. I grew up with a diverse group of dogs and cats from Mane Coons to Raggdolls to Rottweilers to Shih Tzus. I would house sit and walk others pets. I have experience with reptiles and amphibians. I had my own dog and cat walking business when I was 10-14 years old. I am currently a trained zookeeper with an abundant amount of experience with different species. I also am a dog trainer, especially puppies.

Gabrielle has been working with my new puppy which is a poodle. She’s very knowledgeable about all aspects of caring for and training dogs. She gives me great tips on toilet training as well as teething issues. We have been meeting 1-2 a week for training sessions and she’s always on time which is what I love the most. She has trained my new puppy the certain boundaries, sit, stay, leave it, just to name a few. She takes him on walks on every session to practice and work on his temperament while outside and gives me great feedback. I am very pleased with her service and has recommended her to several of my friends and family.

I have experience with animal enrichment and would incorporate this into their routine. I have experience with high energy dogs as well as those that are low energy. I like to use local parks with enclosed spaces for secure off leash play.

I currently work part time at my zoo so I’ll be available in the mornings and afternoons the later half of the week and Sunday.
