Pet care experience
My vast experience working with dogs is fueled by my absolute adoration of them and desire to connect with them and care for them. I have fostered dogs of all sizes for many years with various behavior challenges and shadowed at a Veterinary Clinic to learn how to administer oral medications and IV Fluids to both dogs and cats. I have cared for animals with viruses, dental pain, vomiting, and a decrease in energy levels. Based on this experience, I have full confidence in my ability to care for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. I do not have any breed preferences as long as the dog doesn’t show signs of aggression towards people or other animals. When you place your dog in my care, you can rest assured that I will keep a close eye on them to make sure they’re well cared for and their healthcare needs are fully understood and attended to. I pride myself in my perfectionism. I am constantly striving for perfection, so every instruction and request for your dog will be thoroughly followed. What I love most about dogs is that they are empathetic; highly responsive to (and understanding of) their human’s emotions. The loyalty and companionship that a dog brings to their human is unmatched, and they instantly become an irreplaceable part of a family. Even the dogs I’ve met in the shelter are eager for love and attention (i.e. a belly rub!). Caring for dogs brings me so much joy, happiness, and laughter. I have a tendency toward laughter and excitement for life; caring for dogs only adds to that joy. My love of furry friends is not limited to dogs. I have experience with Cats, Fish, Gerbils, Rats, and Bunnies, and I love how each of these animals, regardless of their size, brings joy and laughter to a family. I am happy to offer equal care to any one of these animals. When my own dog, Ellie, isn’t sleeping, she’s chasing tennis balls and swimming in the pool. Ellie is a 5 year old German Shepherd/Lab Mix; She loves kids and other dogs, and is always eager to make new friends.
Reviews
Gabrielle was very reliable and nice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her!
Outstanding, I needed someone 12 hours prior to leaving and Gabrielle came to my home for a meeting, within hours. She and her family are lovely, you can truly tell she loves animals. I received photo's along the way, this was perfect since my dogs are my life. I felt blessed to have her and what a great service. I have 7 dogs and 1 is a puppy, she treated them like her own. Her and this service are amazing.
Gabby did a great job with both our girls. She stayed in contact via text and pictures which I love. The house looked great when we got back too. Thanks Gabby!!
Gabrielle was great, she kept me posted on my dog, sent photos, and checked in. Our house was neat as a pin..I would definitely ask her to sit again!!!

Information Gabrielle A. would like to know about your pet
I always begin a doggie friendship with a meeting in a public, neutral environment. After a positive first meeting, I would want to know about your dog’s routine so that I can keep it as consistent as possible. I would also ask about common behaviors often exhibited by the dog, including how they typically act in social interactions with other dogs and children. Lastly, I would want to know about any allergies, medical histories, and general quirks that I should be aware of.
A typical day
I am a firm believer in absolute honesty. When your dog is in my care, I will remain open and honest to ensure a smooth and happy experience. Our activities together could include a number of things including walks and park adventures, coffee excursions to Dutch Bros Coffee (dogs are always welcome at Dutch Bros!), and family sports games ( we play in a huge grassy field where dogs are free to run after balls and play together). A typical day will look like this: I will start our mornings with the most important meal of the day - Breakfast! Then, I will take them on their morning walk. If your dog is a “morning person” I will get our day started right away by showing them around my neighborhood. In the afternoon, I’ll play with them, take them on a walk to the park, and join them for dinner (a delicious bowl of kibble!). We will top off our fantastic day by playing with their favorite toys before winding down for a good night’s rest. When I care for your dog, I will share daily photos, videos, and updates with you so that you can enjoy your time away without having to worry about the wellbeing of your dog. I will pay close attention to your dog, making sure to return them happy, healthy, and fully satisfied. I will leave you with a Thank You card (highlighting all our adventures), and a goody bag to remind your dog that they are special.
