Pet care experience
I’ve taken cared for dogs of all sizes, breed, and personalities since i was 11 years old. My friends and family have trusted me since I was young with caring for their pets whether it be just for quick check-ins and walks, or for long trips. My love for animals, specifically dogs, has led me to desire a job where I can care for them as my own and provide for them in as many ways as I can while their owners are away, whether it be for a short or long period of time. I have interacted with many dogs in my life from large dogs such as Cane Corsos to Yorkies. I grew up with my parent’s dog who is a Havense and have even fostered a dog, a Pitbull, who I was able to find a lovely home for. I have fed, bathed, walked, and played with my friends, family members’s, and neighbors dogs, often connecting with them instantly and building a bond to provide them with the best care I can. I truly love and have always loved these amazing animals and want to do nothing more than show them love and nothing but the best care they deserve. I’ll make sure to take the best care of your fur-baby :)

Gabriella did an amazing job watching my anxious pup. He usually is very nervous but did excellent with her.
Gabriella was a big help when it came to watching my dog while I was away! She was king and it was noticeable she really cares for animals. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing my dog was being taken care of by someone so responsible and trustworthy. I will definitely be asking Gabriella to pet sit for my next vacation!

I will care for your furbaby by providing them with lots of play-time, walks, cuddles, and of course food, water and lots of treats-Not too many of course :) Depending on the furbaby, I will adjust to their level of comfort or needs to make sure they feel safe at all times and they remain feeling their best throughout our time together. I understand each dog is different, therefore I find it extremely important to understand what they are okay with and what may be uncomfortable territory, to avoid crossing any boundaries and making them uneasy at any time. For any anxious or easily excitable pups, I believe meet & greets are great to establish a sense of trust prior to any care. I make sure to be gentle and ease into any interactions with any pup to make sure they are fully comfortable !

There is a lot of information to know about a dog ahead of time. I would like to know if there are any behavioral concerns, such as aggressiveness, anxiety, mouthiness, triggers while petting or with certain objects or sounds, leash biting, pulling etc. I also think it’s important to know any medical issues or if there are medications that need to be administered to make sure your pup is getting the care they need. It is also important to know a dogs schedule. Pups thrive on having a schedule so for their benefit, i’d like to maintain it by ensuring they are fed and walked on the time that works best for them and their owners :)
A typical day
I love to stimulate fur babies physically and mentally. It’s essential to their health and to an overall great lifestyle! We’ll go on long walks around the neighborhood so they can sniff and explore their surrounding area. I also love this large park in Tuckahoe that has a beautiful lake and long paths giving your pup lots of space to explore. We will also play with all their favorite toys to let out energy and also stimulate them both physically and mentally. A great form of mental stimulation is to even teach them some new tricks :)

Availability
I’m currently working part-time at a jewelry store so my schedule varies from week to week. I will make sure to update my calendar depending on my availability, but I am more than likely available at least 3 days out of the week.
