Please read ENTIRE page of information before requesting me. I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician who is well versed in pet care and the needs of each pet. I have worked in general practice, ER/ICU, and cardiology. I have been in the field since 2014. I have been caring for animals since 2011 and pet sitting since 2014. I have always loved animals and it's the reason I got into the field of veterinary medicine. I strive for your pets experience with me to be as similar as if you were home. I treat every patient at work and every pet I sit, as if they were my own. I am experienced in medication administration(including insulin and injectables), first aid/CPR, noticing signs of illness, and fear free practices. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable and as if you never left, while you are away. I am different from regular pet sitters because I have the experience of veterinary medicine. I know the ins and outs of pet care on a higher level than just feeding and walking. Your pets will be in safe and caring hands while I am with them.

Gabby watched our 3 Goldens and 1 cat for a week while we were on vacation this past summer. She stayed at our home the entire time and took fabulous care of our pets AND our home! I would like to know the temperament of each pet I will be watching over and if they have anxiety/aggression of any sort. This will be important to their care while I am pet sitting them so I can learn how to make them most comfortable and at ease during our time together. I will need to know any special requirements your pet needs, if they have any medical conditions, if they need medications, have any appointments they need to get to, what food they eat, when and how much, if they're dog/cat reactive, etc. the more information the better!
A typical day
I do whatever your pet wants to do. If they want to hang around all day, go for a walk, play in the backyard, etc, that's what we will do.

Availability
It is important for any owner who requests me know that during my sitting jobs, I continue to work my full time job. This mostly applies to older pets, pets who need medications, or pets that cannot be left alone for long periods of time. Depending on the period of time requested, theres a high chance that I will be working. I work 10 hour days(WEEKDAYS ONLY) and depending on where you live, it may be over an hour to and from your home/work, which totals the time I will be away during my working days to up to 12 hours. There is also a small chance that I will be on call during your booking, I will do my best to let you know if I am on call during the sitting job and we will discuss that if it applies to the booking. What past clients have done is have a friend, neighbor or family stop by during the day to visit, give medications, etc on the days I work. This is entirely up to you. There is the option of me taking your pet to work with me on the days I work. Most clients decline this but it is an option. I give all of this Information so I am up front and direct. I can assure you that working my full time job while watching your pet will have ZERO impact on the love and care they receive while I am staying with them. Otherwise, anytime that I am not working, besides running errands, etc. I will be at home with your pets ensuring that they are comfortable and happy.
