I miss being around dogs! I gained a lot of experience with larger breeds after adopting my two high-energy puppies—a Labrador/Pit and an Australian Shepherd—about five years ago. I’ve also spent several years dog and cat sitting for friends and neighbors. A couple of my close friends needed someone to consistently walk and feed their dogs when they started full-time jobs, and I was happy to help thanks to my flexible work schedule. One of the dogs I cared for daily was a Cattle Dog with extremely high energy and strong working-dog instincts, which helped me build even more confidence in handling driven, active breeds. In addition to my dog experience, I worked at an adoptable cat café (which I miss dearly!) where I cared for cats with a variety of backgrounds and personalities. My own dogs are full of quirks and boundless energy, so I’ve become very familiar with different behaviors, temperaments, and activity levels. I’m extremely comfortable with all types of dogs—from shy and nervous to bold and snappy- and Im comfortable handling each dog where they are. Whether it’s helping an anxious pup feel safe or matching the energy of a high-drive dog on a fast-paced walk, I’m adaptable!

Horrible experience. I was supposed to go in for surgery and Gabriella never showed up. I started panicking on the way to the hospital and Gabriella never answered her phone to either me or Rovers call service. I came home needing to walk my puppy 30 min after surgery because Gabriella wasn't dependable. I should be on bed rest, but I can't because Gabriella bailed on our agreement. Do not ask for her services.
So thankful for Gabriella’s help walking my 1 yo pittie last week! She was so good with him and he loved spending time with her. She took him on nice, long walks and helped to tire him out while I was working. -1 star due to punctuality/communicating when running late. That said, I would definitely still work with Gabriella again. Thank you so much ♥️

Gabriella took great care of my two senior dogs. The small one in particular doesn’t always like to walk but she managed to get him out every time.

Schedule
Im currently working part-time, with days off during the week being fairly consistent. I am extremely flexible when it comes to location and times needed.

Safety, trust & environment
I am capable of caring for pets in any type of home, and can be punctual with directions and requirements in another's home. In my home, I have a fenced-in small yard, no other pets, living in a street level unit of an apartment.
A typical day
I love long walks/exploring places whether it be the dogs daily walk route that they're used to, or new routes with greenery and things to sniff. I can play games with the dogs whether it be tug of war or fetch!
