Pet care experience
Mick and Ella, we are a 2 in one special. We both work from home full time with our at home office mate Buko. He is 3 year old shepherd mix who loves to play all day long. We have a big backyard to play in and plenty of space to have some doggy friends come hang out during the work day. Between both of us and Buko, we will keep. Keen eye on your furry friend and make sure they go home tired and happy.

Gabriella and her house were very accommodating with housesitting or dog. They sent picture updates and we’re flexible. They have very kind pups which got along great with my dog. 10/10 would recommend if you are needing a go to in Santa Cruz!

We use positive reinforcement training with our pup, we don’t have a training collar for him but are happy to use one if your dog needs the extra training. Buko is well trained off leash but we can be sure to keep any day care dogs on leash during our outings on hikes or walks. We are happy to feed at specified hours if food is provided and packed for the day and can be sure they don’t eat anything they are allergic to.

Need to know their playing style, allergies, aggression, off leash, crate trained, feeding schedule, and exercise needs. The more information the better, as we would like to make sure your dog gets all their needs while in our care.
A typical day
We typically go out for a long walk/dog beach play session for 2 hours in the morning and then another shorter 45 min walk at lunch. In between the dogs will have free play time in the backyard nap time in the house in a crate or bed (Buko is crate trained but happy to accommodate any sleeping habits) throughout the day depending on energy level.

Availability
We work from home and are available to start doggy day care at 8am Mon-Fri and pick up by 4/5 pm. We generally head out at 6 am to hit the dog beach with Buko so we can work out an earlier start if needed. We go on a lunch break walk but the pups will have free range of our backyard all day.
