Pet care experience
My name is Gabriella, and I've taken care of dogs my whole life, from pit bulls and french bulldogs. I'm comfortable with large and small dogs, dogs with special medical needs, old dogs, puppies, etc. I work from home, so am available to watch dogs that want (or need!) someone with them most of the time — the only thing I have to be mindful of (living an apartment) is a highly vocal dog. My apartment is on the smaller side, but I live within walking distance of two good sized parks and a dog park, so will happily take your dog on walks. I'm highly communicative and love to send daily update pics to let owners know how their dog is doing!

Gabriella was very accommodating on short notice and easy to work with. The whole process went very smoothly and we could not be happier that our dog got one on one attention instead of getting shut in a kennel all day as with a typical boarding place.
Gabriella was awesome, and Polly loved her. I mean, I assume so. Polly can't talk, but she did seem happy and slept a bunch when she got home. Gabriella kept in touch when she had a question and was very punctual and reliable!

Gabriella has a true passion for animals and treats each as if they were her own child. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my beautiful puppy!

Dogs that are staying overnight with me are getting a home away from home treatment — I will basically pretend that they're my dog! We'll do all the usual things — walking, playing, etc. I don't have a car, so sadly, no car rides.

Information Gabriella L. would like to know about your pet
My only ask is that people are very candid with me about any behavioral issues their dog has. I have only ever had *one* dogsit go south in ~10 years, and it was when the owners neglected to tell me that their dog suffered from INTENSE separation anxiety — they would not calm down no matter how much time had passed, and eventually I had to organize for a friend of theirs to watch the dog at its actual home (this was before Rover did housesits). I felt awful for all parties involved — would love to never repeat! Please let me know what your dog's personality is like so I can either accept or make sure you end up with a sitter who can meet your needs.
A typical day
There are several parks within walking distance from my apartment, including a dog park — if your dog plays well with others, I'm happy to take them there! Otherwise, the area is very cute and residential — we'll go on walks, I'll ask them for life advice, it'll be a fun time.

Availability
I work from home, so pet care is pretty flexible! I have a few routines that I keep to throughout the week (shopping, going to the gym, etc) and may go out for a few hours on weekends, but nothing excessive.
