Pet care experience
We have been watching dogs for our friends, family, & neighbors for the past 10 years. We both have experience training/watching puppies as well as older dogs. We have a 3-year old Australian Shepherd (Gigi) who is super friendly and loves all types of doggy playmates. We are working from home and can accommodate any type of walking/potty/feeding schedule. We live in a single family home with a large yard for the pups to play in. The dogs will typically have access to the whole house but we are also able to crate the dog if you prefer (we have a crate available at our house but will not use it unless you instruct). We are a 3 minute drive from the VCA Animal Hospital so we have access to quick veterinary care in the event of an emergency. Our dog Gigi is super friendly and will love to keep your dog company in between walks & playtime.

This was Teddy’s first stay with Josh and Gabby. From the photos we received it seems he made himself quite at home and very relaxed. He went on a number of walks thru out the day and enjoyed their dogs company. Gabby and Josh were quick to reply to our questions, concerns and accommodating to our changes. We will definitely use them again.
Gabriella & Josh are amazing and I highly recommend. We left our 5 month old puppy with them for 10 days and felt so at ease knowing she was in great hands. They kept us updated daily with photos and stories. They are super buttoned up and easy to communicate with. We will definitely leave Archie with them again :) Thank you SO much!!!
Gabriella, Josh, and Gigi are the most amazing hosts. We felt so comfortable leaving our buddy with them. We so appreciated all of the pictures, videos, and updates. We never worried about Diego while we were gone. We will not hesitate to request their services again.
We are beyond thrilled with how well Gabby and Josh took care of our girl Bailey. They provided multiple updates every day which helped us keep well informed and have peace of mind leaving our puppy behind. I love how thorough they are, which speaks volumes to me in how well they take care of their own fur baby. Thank you for caring for Bailey and I feel like I have found a trusted couple who I can leave our girl behind when we need.

We always ensure that the dog's safety is top priority. We supervise during playtime, ensure that each dog has privacy during meals (to avoid any conflict over food), and have the pups sleep in our room at night so we can keep an eye on them. We are also a 3 minute drive from the VCA Animal Hospital so we are well equipped to handle any emergency.

Let us know if your dog has any special health needs or dietary restrictions. We only watch dogs that are friendly with other pets to ensure the safety of our own dog. Please let us know if your dog is not yet house broken so we can make special accommodations as needed. If your dog is not yet spayed or neutered, please let us know so we can make any necessary accommodations. ***PICK UP TIMES AFTER 12 PM are considered as part of our "Day Care" and will be charged accordingly (+$40 in addition to Overnight Boarding fees). If you need a slightly later check out in the afternoon, please let us know ahead of time and we can see if we can override the Day Care fee.
A typical day
Your dog’s day will start with an early morning walk around one of our local neighborhood. Depending on how they prefer their walks, we will either walk them on their own or with our dog Gigi (whatever makes them comfortable)! Your pup will get 3 of these walks a day - in the morning, at lunch, and after dinner. If requested, we can also take your dog to one of our local parks or hikes - although we will not do this without your explicit permission to ensure your dog is safe & comfortable in that environment. We feed the dogs separately so there is no competitive food behavior and our pups can enjoy their meals in peace. Between walks, the dogs will have access to play with each other around the house & in our large yard with supervision. We work from home and are able to provide supervision throughout the entire day. Evenings involve more playtime or family movie nights & couch snuggles (only if your pup is allowed on couches at home!) if the pups are too pooped to play.

Availability
Both of us work from home full time so there is always someone in the house supervising the pups. We take the dogs out for walks or play in the yard in the morning, at lunch, and in the evenings to ensure they get plenty of exercise. Our weekends consist of lots of dog-friendly outdoor activities like walking on the beach, going on hikes, or just hanging out at one of our local parks with the pups.
