Pet care experience
Taking care of animals is my true passion. I treat every pet as if they were my babies. There is nothing more satisfying than to see a happy and healthy pet. Back in my country, I grew up with 2 beautiful German Shepherds and several cats. In the States, I owned cats and eventually adopted a bunny, a tortoise, a small dog, parakeets and Oscar fish. My work with animals began by volunteering at the Fairfax Animal Shelter back in 2007. After that I worked full time at a doggy day care and later on as a veterinary assistant at two animal hospitals. I can provide references and I'm very trustworthy. I'm able to walk dogs and pet sit only on Wednesdays and Thursdays since I have a full time job.

Gabriela is a fabulous dog sitter! She clearly not only has lots of knowledge of animals, but she also is genuinely passionate about providing the best care possible for them. We think of our dog as a member of the family and so leaving him with someone new can be really hard, but Gabriela made me feel right at ease. Baxter enjoy playtime, treats, walks and lots of attention. I highly recommend Gabriela. We'll definitely rebook in the future!
In the four years I've known Gabriela, she's proven herself to be a caring, knowledgeable pet owner and sitter. She's cared for my dog, rabbit and turtle. Whenever I leave town, I always ask Gabriela to take care of my dog Max because I know she'll care for him like he's her own dog. He's always so excited to see her. He's been exercised, groomed and fed by the time he returns from a stay with Gabriela. As a former pet hospital worker, she keeps a keen eye out for medical issues and alerted me to a problem that caused me to take Max to the vet. I'm so glad I did. I highly recommend Gabriela.
I can't recommend Gabriela highly enough as a pet sitter. She genuinely loves animals. Our dog runs to see her when she comes to our house. She has been watching our dog for about 15 years occasionally, sometimes for more than 2 weeks at a stretch. She is an excellent pet sitter and a wonderful person!
