I have a 5 yr old yorkie named Fifi who I took in after I found out my aunt was no longer able to take care of her. It was perfect timing too since I was looking to adopt a dog from a local shelter. After a couple days of paying attention to her behavior, I found out she wasnt very social with other dogs. She was afraid of them and would snarl if any got near her. Her activity level was very low which I felt bad about given she was such a young dog. Now, I feel that she's able to be herself. I walk her everyday and make sure that she's groomed. I take her to the dog park so that she has interactions with other dogs. At first she was very shy and didnt want anything to do with other animals, but now she has really eased up.
